21st - 27th July 2020
An entire week of blissJoin us this coming July for a week long retreat in the heart of the French Loire Valley. This is time dedicated to our own health and well being, space to find out how we really feel, and time to replenish lost energy and recharge our batteries.
Far from being selfish - this breathing space is an essential component of a healthy physical, emotional and engaged life. When we learn how to create this breathing space - life is richer! The practices of Yoga and Meditation are two of the most ancient, wholesome and proven ways in which to discover a breathing space that is uniquely yours. This week will offer you the possibility of a more self-aware, compassionate life. The practices ask you to come as you are. Starting from where you are. I hope you will join us... |

For years Rachel pursued a career in law after graduating from Queen Mary university, London and BPP Law School. She returned to her first love of holistic therapy. It came naturally to her as she had been raised in an environment that welcomed and encouraged complimentary therapies. One of her biggest influences is her mother who practiced homeopathy, reflexology, aromatherapy, iridology and massage for many years. Rachel has traveled the world to complete her various training and brings her unique zest for life to everything she does. Sometimes laughter really is the best medicine. She continues her personal and professional development on an annual basis, keeping up to date with the latest knowledge from around the world, developing her practice, therapies and of course, herself.

Daily WorkshopsThere will be daily workshops, discussions, and individual guidance, focusing on your own aims. In essence it’s a weeklong opportunity allowing yourself to indulge in what it feels like to open and stretch those parts of the body and mind that need it. All this whilst soaking up the French countryside and having a fun time in good company! There will also be potential visits to local markets, chateaux, and vine yards for those who want. Here’s a brief low-down on what you can expect to find on your week...
The Yoga and meditation will be suitable for all abilities - and we will work gently with you if you have any health issues, injuries or apprehensions. If you are an experienced Yogi, you will be encouraged to deepen and progress your practise. The daily routine will offer plenty of free time - with most activities happening before breakfast and in the afternoon before dinner. Afternoons will be yours to use as you wish, and we will keep silence between 10pm up until mid morning. Please read the daily guide for a picture of how each day will flow, there will no doubt be adjustments to the course as course evolves... Bringing mindfulness homeThis retreat will help you to step off autopilot and bring yourself fully into the present moment. Together with daily yoga and meditation practise, we'll be looking at how we can respond with more awareness to the things that stress us, learning to relax more so that we can apply this to our every day lives. Our aim is that you will spend a relaxing week on retreat but once home, you will have the tools with which to keep in touch with those feelings of being more aware, more connected and less stressed.
