Hello.
Firstly thanks for taking the time to visit my site, a huge welcome! My parents bought this farmhouse when I was 2 years old, mainly so that we had an opportunity to run wild for a few weeks of the summer as children. It was completely run down when we first arrived, with no stairs or beds. That first summer we slept like sausages on the floor, and gradually we've worked on it until it has become the beautiful place that it is today. It has been a labour of love and I've been there throughout the process, learning from my grandfather and others. Outside of running retreats I'm often doing carpentry work which has been put to good use in France, including building a sauna on site recently! I think of the Farm (as we've always called it) as a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life, and I am so happy I can now open the doors and allow others from around the world to come and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere here. I've always been interested in nature, wellbeing, and community, and these are notions that can be experienced, cherished, and taken home with us. When guests come they soon feel a part of a family, and that's my wish, that during your time here, you are home. I look forward to welcoming you here... Love, Sam x |
