Meet your teacherAbi, the founder of VINOYASA grew up in Devon surrounded by nature spending much of her childhood on the beach or Dartmoor. Nature connection is instilled in her and is something she hopes to share. When not pouring into VINOYASA, Abi will be found surfing, swimming, skating, slacklining – anything fun and outdoors.
Abi encourages herself to live in a way that challenges fears and pushes herself, in what she would describe fondly as “the spice of life.” She softly carries this mantra and encourages those who join her to do the same. VINOYASA sessions bring joy, fun, vitality and balance to encourage a lifestyle that reduces stress softly, brings happiness, and allows a safe space. Abi trained with Devrah both in the studio and in the outdoors. She travelled to India to study traditional Mysore Ashtanga with the 3 Mysore Sisters. Abi later completed her 200-hour Hatha and Iyengar certification at the Miriam Wells School of Yoga, in Costa Rica. The idea of VINOYASA began to blossom as Abi was surrounded by incredible nature, she surfed and practised yoga daily, often finishing with a glass of wine.. After 5 years of teaching, Abi returned to India where she completed her 300hr advanced Yoga training in Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa. Abi is now a fully registered 500 hour Yoga teacher. For more info such as a daily schedule please check out Abi's website. |
